I called Central Heating and Air mid day and they were here by 3:45, accessed the issue and corrected it. At 4:30 I have cold air! Nate is the best. Highly recommend.

⭐️ I have to give a HUGE shoutout to Central Heat & Air! ⭐️ When my upstairs AC went out in the dead heat of summer, it got up to 84° upstairs — where all three of my girls’ bedrooms are. 🥵 I knew getting someone out quickly this time of year could be a nightmare because everyone’s AC seems to be on the fritz. Central Heat & Air was absolutely amazing. They got me set up with a brand-new unit, installed all-new piping and electrical, added insulation, and had everything taken care of in a very timely manner. They made what could have been a stressful situation so much easier. And then today, a month later, this sweet little package showed up at my house. 🥹💕 Cookies and a thank-you from them — when I’m the one who should be thanking them! It’s the little things like this that really say a lot about how a company treats its customers. If you’re in the area and need heating or AC work, I highly recommend Central Heat & Air. Needed a service call after I realized my main unit was not working right. Called at 8:05 and had a man here by 9:30.

This was originally HVAC maintenance service. The technician examined the HVAC and found that there were needed repairs. Since the HVAC was 12 years old, it was recommended that I needed to replace the unit. The technician was very helpful in showing me what was going on with the 12 year old unit.

This is the second company I have recently used on our heat pump. The first one replaced a part and charged me $400, and indicated he would send out a team to clean the unit at a cost of $1000! Your company sent an experienced man that figured out my thermostat was the wrong one. He replaced that part for $300. He offered a one year maintenance contract and cleaned the unit right then. Have had no more problems!

Tony came to do the estimate. Not a heavy handed salesman! He listen to what I needed, didn’t oversell and made me aware of specials and rebates that were available. Josh and Justin came a couple of days later for the install. This wasn’t their first time—they really knew what they were doing. Courteous, happy to explain and great attention to detail. Made sure the install looked great, functioned perfectly and cleaned up after themselves. Great job!

Zack went above and beyond on this service call. Even in the middle of a winter storm advisory, he honored the appointment for a unit that was down. The units were less than a year old and part of a new construction project. Zack quickly diagnosed the issue and was able to correct it so the unit could run properly. We truly appreciated his dedication and professionalism.

Zach can out diagnosed the problem ordered the part and kept in great contact. He was very prompt and detailed oriented. He made sure I understood and everything was working properly. Would 100% recommended central heat and air. This was warranted repair and I never felt slighted.

Shout-out to Zack, Tony, Matt, Josh, and Larry for their professional work! The entire team installed a completely new system at my home 2 days before Xmas. They arrived promptly at 8am and worked through 4:30ish to complete the project (new duct work, new system - the whole deal). They were thorough in making sure 1) we had the proper air return size and cut a new one seamlessly behind the other 2) repaired any damaged duct work leading up to the air vents even if they didn't catch that during the estimate and 3) widened some of the air vents to increase efficiency in addition to the standard install. They all stayed as long as it took to program the new thermostat and teach each other how it works. I was impressed at how leadership worked alongside the staff to get the job done. And I appreciated all the time they took w/ my questions. I've used Central Heat & Air since 2018 and will continue to do so.

To start with, I wish I could give these guys a 10! They far exceeded my expectations. Tony, the owner truly cares about doing a great job. I've been utilizing the services of Central Heat & Air for a few years now. They have provided routine maintenance and service at my rental property and home. When we purchased our home I knew I had an older heat pump that was going to require some care until it was replaced. When it came time to replace the unit I was confident I was making the right decision, and they provided options that could fit most budgets as well as offered satisfactory financing. We also had a second unit that was a problem from the day we moved in that ended up being replaced at the same time. Zach provided me with the initial troubleshooting service and helped me determine which replacement units to choose. When the supply house made some errors, all was resolved within 24 hours. I have probably worked with most of their service (Matt and Zach) or install staff (Larry, Matthew, and Josh) at this point and every single one of them have shown dedication to their craft, customer service, and have been excellent communicators throughout a large unplanned purchase.

My house was 109 degrees and couldn’t get it to cool. Called central air and the dispatcher was pleasant as always in my frenzy 😂 She dispatched Terry and he was at my house within the hour. He diagnosed the problem super fast. Turns out it needed a new thermostat which was something I was able to do. When I offered to pay he declined saying I’m a maintenance customer so there would be no charge! I can’t thank you guys enough! Terry was hands down the nicest guy ever and even said if I had any issues to call him and he come back by!

Central Heat and Air recently installed a ductless mini-split in my downstairs apartment, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Justin and Josh did an excellent job—they were professional, efficient, and made sure everything was installed perfectly. Frank was also wonderful to work with. We had two professionals st one time. Since we were new to the yearly service and it was fall they checked the air conyitioner and the furnace. They both came on time in 2 different vehicles, we met one young gentleman before. They gredted us and went right to work checking our 2 systems. So far I think they are a great company and we will see if they are true to their word andput us at the top of the list if there is an emergency. By the way the way thev2 young gentleman were very polite.

I needed a mini split installed in a metal building that I have. They were very good about understanding my needs and not over or under estimating what I needed. Josh and Justin Came and did the install. They were very professional in making the area look as neat as possible, and making sure that they met my expectations in a very timely manner.

The service was excellent but the price was very high compared to just 2 years ago. Two years ago this maintenance agreement for 2 inspections per year was $99. This year it cost $229 for the same 2 inspections. Why was the price so high? The inspection took about 15 minutes.

Terry came out and took care of our system maintenance. Everything was fine.

They came out the same day I called and it was super cold when the unit went out. Coming within a few hours really made a difference!

Zack provided our recent service and did a great job. He was on time, very professional, courteous, and answered all our questions. We have had a great overall experience since purchasing our upstairs and downstairs units from Central Heat and Air!

Zack also checked my dehumidifyer under the house next to the heat/air unit and found no power going to it. Later that afternoon a neighbor checked to find out why and found a reset button in the garage! Thanks, Zack, for pointing this out!

We just purchased a new heat and air unit and Air purifier UV light and both are working perfectly! We had an unpleasant odor that lingered in our home and when Tony recommended the UV light I was very skeptical but after Matt Crackel came and done a great job installing it and explaining how it works in just a couple of days the odor was completely gone! Josh & Justin came and installed our new unit and was such professionals at everything they did even though I was constantly asking questions they were very patient and answered them all with kindness. They explained everything they did and when they left you couldn’t tell they had been there. No mess at all they even swept my basement floor! Central Heat & Air installed my new HVAC last week. Frank came for my estimate and helped me choose the right system for my home and answered all my questions. I have several large dogs and they were both very patient as I moved them around to different areas so they could work around them. They did a great job cleaning my air ducts and cleaned up completely when they were done with the installation. I am so pleased with my install this morning. Matt and Josh showed up about 8:15 this morning and had our new American Standard unit installed by noon. When they uncrated the unit, the top panel had gotten bent in shipping. Frank, our sales person got in his truck and drove to Chattanooga to get a new panel. You can't beat that kind of service! Central Air’s Tech, Matt did a warrenty on my split unit and did a very good job of running down the problem. He also completed preventive maintenance on my daughters two units and feel confident that they will last much longer Central Air’s tech Matt returned today, 7/23/2026 and completed air conditioning maintenance on my 3 HVAC systems. Matt’s very thorough in his work and feel confident they will work through rest of season.

Very professional and complete service including washing the unit inside and out and photographic documentation of the services performed.
